Digital honours: Sydney’s Medium Rare wins three awards for Qantas magazine in London

Sydney custom publishing business Medium Rare Content has won awards for its Qantas publication in London over the weekend at the Digital Magazine Awards.

Medium Rare won for Launch (new format) of the year, Customer Magazine of the Year and Travel Magazine of the Year.

The judge’s comments respectively for each win were:
Launch: Great to see a magazine breaking out of the fixed publishing schedule. Mobile friendly and easily downloadable which shows a strong understanding of its readers’ needs.
Customer Magazine: Wonderfully tailored content which is simple to use thanks to a great user experience. Understands its audience perfectly. A beautiful reading experience combined with great engagement stats make this mag a standout.
Travel Magazine: Content pages are enticing and the articles explore locations to impressive depth. This is definitely a magazine that I would download in the airport before I head off on a holiday.
The Australian edition of GQ Magazine was highly commended in the Men’s Lifesyle category which was won by the UK edition of GQ.
