Nova is again #1 with a steady result of 14.0% down only 0.5 points.
At the end of last year the trio of Nathan, Nat and Shaun had their best survey result ever and have come very close this time losing only 0.7 points, as they continue their dominant lead.
Nova’s dayparts have also remained steady with the only major decline coming on the weekends where the station is down 1.4 points.
Nova also continued to dominate drive with Kate, Tim and Joel continuing to rank #1 with the same share as survey 8 last year.
Nova remains well in control of 25-39, up 3.9 points.

Now a Hit Network station, Mix has seen an uptick of 0.6 points.
The new breakfast lineup of Pete, Matt & Kymba has started off well with an upswing of 1.2 points as it establishes itself as the clear #2 behind Nova.
The new sound of the station has had an impact on the demographics with 18-24 up 6.2 points, and 40-54 up 3.7 points.
The new national drive show with Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little was #2 in Perth and gained 1.2 points.

96FM has continued its downward trend after finishing 2020 with its lowest 10+ and breakfast shares and now has lost 1.5 points to start 2021, with breakfast also down 0.6 points.
This turned out to be the last survey result for radio legend Fred Botica who announced his decision to retire after 50 years in radio, with the breakfast show Botica’s Bunch now becoming The Bunch.

This is the first survey since Hit 92.9 flipped to Triple M with the station down 0.7 points as its audience adjusts to the new tone.
The new breakfast team led by Basil Zempilas with co-hosts Xavier Ellis and Jenna Clarke lost 1.3 points in its first survey, as Perth’s Lord Mayor Zempilas makes the adjustment from AM to FM.
After the rebranding of the station, the demographics have begun to shift with the station up in 18-24 by 3.2 points, down in 25-39 by 5.0 points, and up in 40-54 by 4.2 points.

In Gareth Parker‘s first survey as breakfast host, he has managed to keep his share dead even to the last one posted by Basil Zempilas and Steve Mills.
Overall, 6PR was about even with its ratings share that closed out 2020, with the most noticeable change being an upswing of 4.1 points in the 55-64 demo.

The station has kept steady down just 0.2 points. Steady is the keyword with no drastic change across the board with the biggest positive being the 1.4 point gain the station made in the mornings. The 55-65 age range continues to be the best demo for the station as well.
