Paramount+ reports it is growing in Australia as it lists a trove of football content it will be sharing with viewers this summer. The streaming platform will be bringing subscribers over 140 live matches in January.
Notable content includes exclusive coverage of the Emirates FA Cup third round, with matches like Arsenal versus Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur versus Burnley, and United versus Wigan Athletic.
Paramount+ will also be home to every match of the AFC Asian Cup. The Subway Socceroos will start their campaign against India on January 13 at 10:00 pm AEDT. Before that, there’s a pre-tournament game against Bahrain on January 7 at 12:30 am AEDT.
Network 10 will show all Subway Socceroos AFC Asian Cup matches for free. Former Socceroos star Alex Wilkinson, along with commentators Andy Harper and Simon Hill, will be presenting from Qatar.
Locally, Paramount+ will be place for all Isuzu UTE A-League Men and Liberty A-League Women matches this summer, with a special focus on Unite Round from January 12 to January 14, where all teams will be playing in Sydney.
Important A-League matches will also be on 10 Bold and 10 Play including: Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United on December 30, the Australia Cup final rematch between Brisbane Roar and Sydney FC on January 6, as well as all Liberty A-League matches.
Unite Round weekend will have a doubleheader of Isuzu UTE A-League matches on January 13. First up is Central Coast Mariners vs. Melbourne Victory at 4:30 pm AEDT, followed by Adelaide United vs. Sydney FC at 7:30 pm AEDT.
The Liberty A-League grand final rematch between Western United and Sydney FC will wrap up the weekend on January 14 at 4:30 pm AEDT.
