Ogilvy PR has been appointed as the agency of record for Snap Inc.
The agency will provide consumer PR, corporate reputation and B2B comms support for Snap, utilising its strong experience across insights, creativity and media liaison to further build the Snapchat brand in Australia and help drive continued audience and revenue growth.
Its appointment follows a competitive pitch, with Ogilvy’s ability to harness the cultural landscape, and its use of play to build community connection key pillars of its winning approach.

As part of its remit, the agency will also work closely with Snap’s team to create meaningful moments around technology leadership, augmented reality (AR) innovation, and platform safety.
Australia is one of Snap’s most important markets, with a highly-engaged audience, active advertisers and strong partners, reaching a local community of more than 7.5M Australian Snapchatters, including around 90% of 13-24 year olds and 75% of people aged 13-34 across the country.
