Nova welcomed over 200 listeners and VIPs to celebrate WorldPride with the launch of their first listener event, Nova’s Pride Party.
The event was hosted by Drive Time presenters Tim Blackwell and Joel Creasey.
Blackwell and Creasey said: “It’s our first party with listeners, and what better time than gay Christmas…WorldPride!”
Nova also teamed up with Coles, who sponsored the Drive Show’s first-ever listener party.
Guests embraced the iconic views as they cruised on The Jackson, Sydney’s newest and most luxurious $15 million dollar vessel on the Harbour.
It was a night full of colour, dancing and Drag Queens! hosted by Blackwell and Creasey. Colours popped, bubbles flowed, and sequins sparkled as all on board celebrated in true Mardi Gras style!
The evening kicked off with safety first as Below Deck’s Hannah Ferrier talking guests through Yacht safety, followed by a special performance by Nova’s Drive team bestie and gay icon Ricki-Lee.
The high energy show had the audience dancing and singing along as Ricki-Lee performed hits such as Can’t Touch It, This Time I Know It’s For Real, Raining Diamonds and Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody.
Special VIP guests included singer Jack Vidgen, former Masterchef and Survivor contestant Khanh Ong, Australian professional basketballer Isaac Humphries.
Also in attendance was drag queen MisTy DelRay, Australian TV presenter Susie Elelman and celebrity makeup artist and host of Nova’s Skinfluence podcast Michael Brown.
Nova’s Drive show can be heard weekdays from 4pm to 6pm on the Nova Network.
