Noisy Beast has promoted, hired, and structured its leadership team to accelerate the next phase of growth as the agency continues its journey to give brands a bigger voice two years on from becoming fully independent and a fully integrated media and creative agency.
Dave Brown, managing partner, said: “Since we took over ownership of the agency, our clients have been absolutely fantastic and massive supporters of our journey with them. This has enabled us to build out our offering, which, in turn, created even more opportunities for both the agency and our clients.”
“That win-win is a model and a philosophy we have built the agency on, knowing full well that when our clients grow, our people grow. Our model is incredibly unique, and our longer-term vision of creating the most sustainable agency model drives us every day,” he added.
The independent media and creative agency has grown its clients since its buyout and is now buying in excess of $100M in media across Digital and Traditional, as well as building out its creative and social offerings.
Brown continued: “In doubling the size of the agency, that now needs the right structure that maintains our entrepreneurism and delivers even bigger solutions for our clients.”
“As a result, we’ve been able to promote those that have been on the journey and also attract senior talent, who have fitted into the model and have just made it better.”
Joining the leadership team alongside Jules Kilmartin – general manager of digital who came on board from Reprise Digital last year – is Laura Butler, who has been with the agency for seven years.
Recently promoted into the role of group client director, she is already forming a formidable relationship with new head of media, Val Murphy, who joined earlier in the year from Cummins & Partners, following 14 years at OMD.
The Sydney team has seen growth too, with Allie Conquilla promoted to the role of media director and taking up a Sydney-based, national role as head of social and content, is Lilli Lo Russo. Lo Russo joins from B2B digital agency, Digivizer where she was head of growth.
Val Murphy, head of media, said: “Coming across to Noisy has continued my love of working at an agency that embodies the full communications ecosystem. Being part of a team, who share likeminded goals and objectives across all divisions, means we can focus on solving the problems that make a difference for our clients in order to give them a bigger voice. I can’t wait to showcase what Noisy can do!”
Lilli Lo Russo, head of social and content, said: “I’m excited that Noisy’s social offering is keeping up with the times and trusting me to steer the ship. I’m combining my background in SAAS and digital marketing analytics to bring some incredibly rich and data-driven social solutions to our clients, using performance insights to help govern every decision. We’re also investing in growing our social team, with 360-degree digital players who can stay abreast in this fast-changing industry.”
Laura Butler, group client director, said: “Having started my own journey here at Noisy over seven years ago, I have seen the agency’s complete evolution, constantly changing to meet our client’s needs to give them the best possible outcome. It’s an exciting position to be in, connecting the right specialists/disciplines, in the right way, at the right time.”
Allie Conquilla, Sydney media director, said: “Working at large media agencies for the last 20 years and moving to an independent agency like Noisy Beast, reminds me of why I love what I do. Noisy Beast puts its people first and allows you to be adventurous and creative, enabling you to deliver more for your clients. The agency has come a long way since I started here over two years ago and we are heading in a positive direction with our integrated model.”
