Nine Entertainment Co. has launched ninemsn’s latest lifestyle website, Homes, adding to the expanding slate of genre-specific sites that have been rolled out since April this year.
Homes.ninemsn.com.au will focus on how Australians live now and include content targeted at homeowners and renters, Millennials and Gen Xers, embracing the diverse trends emerging in urban living.
Alex Parsons, chief digital and marketing officer for Nine Entertainment Co., said: “The launch of Homes is testimony to ninemsn’s continued commitment to providing Australians with premium, relevant and fresh content. Nine Entertainment Co. continues to leverage its expertise in creating great stories that meet the ever-changing needs of our audiences.”
A range of lifestyle experts will contribute to Homes, including the “house whisperer” and celebrity stylist Megan Morton, as well as Instagram sensations We Are Tribe, Milkwood Permaculture and The Planthunter.
Emma Chamberlain, managing editor ninemsn, said: “We are really excited about the calibre of people we have assembled to contribute to Homes. Australians are changing the way they live and our contributors reflect that in their lives and their work.
“The site is for people who want to make a tangible change to their home by making something, growing something or creating something. The content reflects the way Australians are choosing to express themselves through their homes. They want to contribute to the creation of a liveable space in a hands-on way, but the site will also showcase beautiful spaces and source beautiful products and furniture for the audience, because often the sight of a beautiful home or thing is the start of a great idea.”
Features on Homes will include exclusive online tours of the homes of high-profile Australians, doable DIYs, click-to-buy options, as well as extensive bespoke content created especially for the site.
Ryobi is the major sponsor for launch. New food and travel websites will join ninemsn’s slate of lifestyle content early in 2016.
