Netflix bingeing habits 2017: More than 140 million hours watched every day

One Netflix user watched Pirates of the Caribbean 365 days in a row

Netflix members watched more than 140 million hours per day in 2017, the company reports in its look back at the year.

That’s more than one billion hours per week. The most popular day of 2017 streaming was – believe it or not – Sunday January 1 2017.

“Though bingeing was standard in 2017, not all series were enjoyed in the same way,” the company wrote.

“There were those we devoured, those we savoured, those we cheated on, and those that brought us together.”

It was also revealed that one Netflix user watched Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl 365 days in a row.
