Fox Footy Channel will tonight screen a 30-minute feature on Carlton coach Mick Malthouse ahead of his record-breaking match next weekend.
Called Malthouse 715, Malthouse will be interview by Gerard Whateley at 8.30pm after AFL 360.
The special delves into his outstanding senior coaching milestone of 715 games across four clubs, breaking the record held by Jock McHale of Collingwood.
In the interview Malthouse recalls some of the great moments of his AFL career, as well as some of the more difficult times.
“You’ve got to have had some good times and bad times to know there’s a difference. I’ve just treated life really, I suppose on reflection, as one big challenge, and not every challenge is joyful but every challenge you can make what you want to make of it.
“I think the harder the challenge, the greater the reward,” Malthouse reveals.
