Meshel Laurie’s intimate new podcast series

Meshel Laurie’s intimate new podcast series launches April 9.

Nova’s Meshel Laurie (pictured) explores her love of people and their unique stories in an intimate podcast series that is a tale of the guts and the glory and the nitty gritty of life, launching on iTunes from Thursday 9 April.

A lover of podcasts from the funny, the sad, the tense and the intimate, Meshel wanted to create a podcast series featuring interviews and stories that she enjoys. Some of her guests are famous, Osher Gűnsberg, Cameron Daddo and Molly Meldrum, while others have accomplished extraordinary things with their lives due to circumstances or desire, but they all have interesting stories.

The first series of interviews sees Meshel chat to five-time rehab attendee Camilla, the daughter of comic legend John Cleese, who is attempting to make a name for herself as a comedian, Spicks and SpecksAlan Brough who gives a very real account about the challenges of raising children and Meshel also puts the spotlight on Missing Persons in a special with Loren O’Keeffe, Dylan Redman and Amelia Kaiser, all of whom have had family members disappear into thin air.

The Nitty Gritty Committee will be available for free download from iTunes with new interviews uploaded weekly.

Meshel Laurie is joined by Tommy Little on Nova 100’s Meshel & Tommy breakfast show weekdays from 6am to 9am.
