Fifi, Fev & Nick on Melbourne’s 101.9 The Fox have handed over away another $100K cheque to a local listener during ‘Secret Sound.’
The trio have also announced the segment will be played for a second time.
Cathy from the Melbourne suburb of Burwood was driving her kids to school when she rang the station by chance, correctly guessing the station’s ‘Secret Sound’ which was ‘closing the lid of the fire alarm after changing the batteries’, she won an instant $100,000 cash.
“It’s life changing. We’ve had a hard few years, (my husband) Pete’s health hasn’t been fantastic and it’s been a bit tough for a while,” said Cathy.
“We’ll go for a family holiday definitely!”
As the station’s most famous radio competition continues, Melbournians will have another chance at winning the $100,000.
Breakfast hosts Fifi, Fev & Nick said: “The ‘Secret Sound’ was made famous by The Fox, Melbourne knows it and loves it. We’re ecstatic to be able to change not one, but now two listeners’ lives forever.”
