Two special episodes to close this sixth series as Annabel Crabb gets both Malcolm Turnbull (tomorrow) and Bill Shorten to whip something up. The first time Shorten appeared on this show in 2014, he cooked ratatouille but this time round, he’s in the middle of the campaign trail so who knows what will be done on the run. [AM]

Offspring
8.30pm on Ten
The much-loved Aussie comedy/drama has been resurrected for a sixth series. It came to an end two years ago because its creator insisted the story was finished, but the fans have demanded its return and Ten have made the right decision to bring it back. Details are very scarce about what’s going to happen but let’s assume from the promos that it is that John Waters’ character who is dropping the family bombshell. And it’s great to See Dan Wylie, so good right now in Secret City, re-uniting with Asher Keddie after their fantastic partnership all those years ago on Love My Way.  [AM]

Lethal Weapon
8:30 on Go!
Before your eyes are sullied by the TV series remake later in the year, it might be worth taking a few hours to remind yourself what a thoroughly entertaining movie the first Lethal Weapon film was. You might feel you’re too old for this, but you really weren’t. Also worth noting, star Danny Glover was only 41 years-old when he made this movie. [DB]

WAGS
9.30pm on E!
Although the British tabloid press coined this phrase for wives and girlfriends of professional soccer players, the Americans have stolen the term for their own reality series and there’s isn’t a soccer star in sight anymore. Airing Express from the US, this second series is about the ladies who date NFL stars and hockey players – and also want to become more famous.  [AM]

Crossword nerds, this is the documentary for you. The New York Times crossword puzzle is widely considered to be the best there is, with a loyal fan base of enthusiasts playing it across the globe. This doco explores the passion puzzle-junkies have for the NYT crossword. [DB]
