Mediahub Perth has unveiled new senior leadership as the full-service media agency continues its growth and continued evolution.
Effective immediately, former Mediahub media director Kylie Macey will step into the general manager role overseeing a team of planners, data, analytics and performance specialists.
In her new position, she has been tasked with bolstering the agency’s growth as a standalone media agency while continuing to work alongside sister agency 303 MullenLowe and other leading creative shops within Australia.
Macey first joined Mediahub Perth more than four years ago, moving through the ranks to become media director after honing her craft at AdCorp, where she spent seven years working across strategy and operations.
Macey said: “I’m thrilled to take on this new role after several years of being embedded in Mediahub’s business and the work of our clients. I’m incredibly passionate about creativity and how it can be applied to generating the strongest media outcomes and performance.
“Mediahub’s heritage in this area is one of the reasons why I joined – and now I’m excited to take this approach to the next stage of our growing business, alongside some of the best media brains in our market.”
Macey said the skillset within the team at Mediahub Perth had already shown great ability to “marry intelligence and data with human insight and creative thinking to go above and beyond an initial idea.”
“Teamed with the firepower of Mediahub global and the buying power of Mediabrands, I believe this approach is something that can set us apart both within the Perth market and beyond,” she said.
“Our proven ability across digital performance, data and analytics and creative thinking sees us challenging briefs, challenging approaches, and driving better outcomes across the media journey. I can’t wait to help the business and our team reach new heights of growth,” Macey added.
303 MullenLowe managing director René Migliore – who was general manager of Mediahub Perth for five years – said Macey’s progression to general manager would see a single focus on bringing fresh approaches and new thinking to the media business.
“Kylie is widely respected and a true leader. She’s also a brilliant strategic thinker which brings real value to the entire media planning process. Adept at working with creatives, she’s able to think thoroughly about the best outcome for the client recognising the importance of all elements of a campaign or ongoing brand platform,” he said.
“I’m incredibly pleased that she can take the next step in her career at Mediahub, and have no doubt she’ll take the business to a new level, continue to deliver creative media thinking and an unfair share of attention for Mediahub clients,” Migliore added.
