Agency execs name their top media moments from 2017

To help us analyse the year we have called on executives from Australia’s finest media agencies. Special thanks to all those who took part and, to those who didn’t, we will be after you next year! Best event you attended in 2017?

State of Origin. Given that I had not long moved to Queensland, it was amazing to see the passion of the Queenslanders all over the city. The atmosphere in the stadium was fantastic. Just a shame I never got to see Thurston play – but his tribute was great to witness.

Favourite breakfast radio show?

I listen to Stav, Abby and Matt in the mornings. I recently bought an alarm clock radio – to try to stop me checking my phone throughout the night – so I find their music pretty easy to wake up to.

TV show on any platform you can’t get enough of?

I tend to binge on Netflix shows so watched quite a few lately – but Master of None is a go-to choice when I need to zone out after a long day.

Memorable media moment from 2017?

I’d say Big Day Out for OMD in Queensland – which was really well received, and nice to be on the other side of the fence presenting to our media partners.

New Year Resolution?

Try to become a bit more relaxed (dare I say, live like a local Queenslander). This has been a crazy year for me, so it would be nice to get out and explore Queensland next year, and enjoy the beauty of Australia.
