The March cover was crazy bright around a stack of gooey slices.
If there is anything the BH&G readers love, it’s colour and slices. So we gave them both in spades and figured we were sure to be on a winner.
And it was a good seller, just the way we wanted.
The chicken soup (June) cover was chosen because the other thing BH&G readers love is winter: cosy, hearty, heart-warming, soothing kinds of words and sentiments-type recipes.
The yum factor was high on this “souper” dish – just check that bean or piece of cheese you can pick up and eat. We banked on all that. BH&G also banked a heart-warming profit as a result.
