Broadchurch was unable to take the top spot on our UK chart when it was beaten by another show on the same channel. The return of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent for an eleventh season beat Broadchurch by about 40,000 viewers.
In the US, another talent show was #1 in the major 18-49 demographic but the Monday episode of The Voice landed at #6 in the all-people chart.
