Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the appointment of Goncalo Fialho as the general manager of Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia & New Zealand (SIE ANZ).
Fialho, who commences the role on April 3, currently serves as the marketing director for SIE Italy, a lead market contributing to the global success of the PlayStation 4.
“Goncalo’s 13 years at PlayStation have seen him lead across both sales and marketing,” said Warwick Light, Vice President & Managing Director, UK, IE & Australasia at SIEE.
“This makes him well placed to take the reins of what is already an exceptionally strong leadership team. Having most recently led marketing for PlayStation Italy, we’re looking forward to him bringing his diverse insight and expertise to the Australia and New Zealand team.”
Of his appointment, Fiahlo said: “This is an exceptional opportunity; I am really looking forward to working collaboratively with the teams to drive the PlayStation business to reach new heights.”
