Time+Tide, the first Australian online wristwatch magazine has appointed Ceri David as its Sydney-based content director.
Founded in 2014, Time+Tide bills itself as “The Australian Watch Authority” and has provided specialist content to The Australian newspaper’s WISH magazine as the category leader’s official watch partner. Stories and reviews from Time+Tide have also been published in Executive Style, Revolution Magazine, Men’s Health and The Weekly Review among many others.
Starting at the end of May, David will be responsible for overseeing content strategy across digital, print, video, social and events. Formerly editor of GQ Australia, she joins Time+Tide with 15 years’ experience in prestige fashion and lifestyle journalism.
“Ceri is a world-class writer, editor and leader with rock-solid relationships in the industry, and we’re thrilled to be welcoming someone of her calibre to the team,” said Time+Tide founder Andrew McUtchen.
“Time+Tide is a digital brand with the production values of a luxury glossy magazine,” said David. “To find that richness of quality and integrity in such a nimble, creative, progressive environment is very exciting. As for the subject matter, watches touch on so much of life – fashion, sport, motoring, pop culture – and I can’t wait to incorporate more of those elements into the Time+Tide offering.”
