Deloitte Digital has announced the appointment of creative business executive Paige Prettyman to lead the growing Deloitte Creative business in Melbourne as managing director.
Prettyman, who has been instrumental in the growth of Special Group Melbourne as general manager, follows a series of senior creative agency leaders joining the digital creative consultancy, including Nick Garret, Dan Wright and Ahmad Salim.
Adrian Mills, Deloitte Digital Creative partner, said: “As we continue to evolve the creative business, we’ve been looking for the right leader to steer the ship. And in our opinion, with Paige, we’re getting one of the most accomplished creative business leaders in the country.
“Indeed, to have Paige on the same team, working towards the same goals at a time when we have so much momentum, is hugely exciting for the creative business and Deloitte Australia,” he added.
Prettyman is known for her track record of building strong creative relationships at agencies including Special Group, Clemenger BBDO, George Patterson Y&R and Marketforce.
During her tenure at Special Group, the Melbourne business grew from two to 40 people, and successfully pitched and won ANZ and Bonds and continued to create memorable work on CUB. Her work has also been awarded at creative award shows, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clios, One Show and the London International Awards.
Nick Garret, Deloitte Digital Creative partner, said: “I’ve known Paige for a long time and loved working with her at Clemenger BBDO. It was clear on my first day there that she was destined for big things.
“Paige possesses a unique blend of curiosity, creative passion, tenacity and ambition, and I can’t wait to see her positive energy directed towards a new canvas,” he added.
Prettyman’s appointment comes at a time of great excitement for Deloitte Digital, with the local business now employing over 1,000 digital and creative specialists across Australia, supported by another 1,000 team members in Mumbai and Manilla.
Prettyman, who will join the team at the start of May, said of her appointment: “I’m hugely excited to join Deloitte Digital and partner with Adrian, Nick, Matt and the team. Their vision to solve bigger problems with creative thinking is the right thing at the right time, and the perfect opportunity for me personally.”
Deloitte Digital’s reputation as a creative, technology and marketing consultancy continues to grow with the brand achieving a leadership position in the Gartner Global Marketing Magic Quadrant, enjoying a successful Cannes Lions result and winning Campaign Brief’s The Work Australian Creative Agency on the Year.
In 2022 the consultancy is focussed on connecting creative thinking into every aspect of the business, and driving a world-first, world-class agenda through its ‘Hello New’ brand positioning.
