Deborah Hutton is returning to screens as the host of Foxtel’s new property series, Find Your Dream Home.
The eight-part series will premiere on Wednesday, April 6 on Foxtel’s Lifestyle and On Demand.
The property program will delve into every Australian’s dream of finding the home of their dreams.
Hutton, who is one of the most recognisable and best-known personalities in Australia, uses her passion for real estate, interiors and home renovations to explore the concept of what a ‘dream home’ is.
She will speak with the owners and architects to discover how their dream home was realised.
Each episode sees her exploring a unique type of ‘dream home’, seeking out entry-level, mid-range and high-end properties of a particular style.
Hutton said: “The way people are choosing to live these days has never been broader or more exciting. In Find Your Dream Home we journey through these various spaces and lifestyle choices.
“From Off Grid to Tiny Houses, Church conversions to Pre-Fab, this series has the potential to make viewers consider their own choices when it comes to how they want to live in the future,” she added.
Hutton’s return to TV comes after she had surgery to remove facial basal cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer, from her face in 2020.
The surgery resulted in a scar across her face, which she has shared photos of on social media, that has since healed over.
She has previously had a basal cell carcinoma removed from the same area on her face nine years earlier, and was shocked to discover it had returned in 2020.
At the time, Deborah Hutton spoke to A Current Affair about her experience, saying: ‘This is cancer. It’s cancer. I was just in shock, and I remember being told about it and I kind of just burst into tears.’
Since then, Hutton has used her experience to urge others to protect their skin and to get their skin checked by a doctor.
