CX Lavender has been awarded the digital services engagement for BlueScope Australia after a competitive tender.
Within the scope of the engagement, CX Lavender will provide digital strategy, UX, design and technical development services across BlueScope brands, including BlueScope Steel, TRUECORE® steel, COLORBOND® steel and more.
CXL’s appointment will strengthen digital services across the BlueScope Australia business, and support each brand’s CX and digital activities across their owned digital channels.
Melissa Barlow, BlueScope group marketing manager, said: “Throughout the process, CXL demonstrated the capabilities, energy and commitment we were looking for. We look forward to working with the team at CX Lavender to accelerate our digital strategy and enhance our customer experience.”
Adam Washington, CXL CEO, added: “BlueScope is home to some of Australia’s most respected brands in the building and construction industry – just one of the many reasons we’re so excited to begin our new partnership with the BlueScope team. By investing in our people and keeping all services in house and on shore, we’ve laid the right foundations for a fantastic long-term partnership to come.”
CXL’s digital services engagement commences this month.
BlueScope is a provider of innovative steel materials, products, systems, and technologies, headquartered in Australia with operations spread across North America, Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands and throughout Asia. It is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of painted and coated steel products, and provides vital components for houses, buildings, structures, automotive and more.
CXL continues to provide end-to-end services via its 70+ Sydney-based team, offering research, creative and digital strategy, creative, product design, technical development and data-lead optimisation.
Its current clients include Westpac, National Broadband Network, Stockland, Audi, GameStop, News Corp, St. George, RAA and American Express.
This comes after the independent agency was appointed by youth mental health organisation, Headspace, to lead its national brand strategy and creative campaign development earlier this year.
