Network 10’s Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia has commenced filming for the newest season in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland this week.
Host Graeme Hall has a proven track record of reforming over 5,000 dogs in the UK in the past decade. From staffies to schnauzers, cavoodles to chihuahuas, no pooch has proven too difficult for the Master Trainer over in Blighty.
Hall is ready to take Australia’s dog owners to task, but will the Yorkshireman’s mantra of “any dog, any age, any problem” ring true down under?
Following the success of the hit UK version, Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia will see Hall travel across the country, utilising his positive training methods that have led to him being dubbed The Dogfather.
Graeme Hall said: “I’m so excited to be here in Australia, and I can’t wait to meet all the dogs Down Under!”
When the new series was in October last year at Paramount’s 2023 Upfront, Hall said: “I’m thrilled to be given the opportunity to bring my canine expertise Down Under. I can’t wait to get cracking on a great new series for 10, helping out plenty more desperate owners and their naughty dogs!”
The new series is based on the hit Avalon format Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly for UK broadcaster Channel 5.
Paramount recently announced it had expanded its sales leadership team, and created two new divisions under Rod Prosser.
The new divisions include the Paramount ANZ Sales Group led by Nick Bower, and the Paramount ANZ Brand Studio overseen by Michael Stanford.
Mediaweek spoke to Prosser (chief sales officer) and Bower (general manager – ad sales) about the new structure and what it means for Paramount’s clients and advertisers.
