A royal special on BBC1 to mark Queen Elizabeth‘s 90th birthday in April 2016, Elizabeth At 90: A Family Tribute, blazed to the top of the UK TV chart in the week ending on 24 April. The program dethroned habitual topper EastEnders.
On the US TV chart for week ending on 24 April, the NCIS franchise took out two of the top three spots. The shows were ranked #1 and #3. An audience of 600,000 separated the #1 and #2 (The Big Bang Theory) shows on the chart. CBS had all the top 3 TV shows for the week.
