Brisbane Radio Ratings – GFK 7

• Triple M win #1 overall

Triple M win #1 overall + Marto, Robin and Moonman #1 breakfast
Drive: Hit’s Hughesy and Kate overhaul Kate, Tim & Marty lead

104.5 Triple M 11.6%

Big result for the Triple M brand with Marto, Robin and The Moonman ranking #1 breakfast. It is two years ago this month that Robin Bailey was let go at 97.3, making her way to Triple M. Share was up in all timeslots – even Kennedy Molloy went up!

Nova 106.9 11.5%

Overall the station only trails Triple M by 0.1, but it is in breakfast where the pain is being felt. Ash, Kip and Luttsy with Susie O’Neill are down 1.8 to 10.1% where they are an unusually distant #3 breakfast with 4KQ less than a point behind. Kate, Tim and Marty lost drive top spot this survey.

Hit 105 11.3%

After ranking #1 last survey overall and in breakfast, share has slipped on both fronts. The station now ranks #3 while breakfast with Stav, Abby and Matt shed 2.2 to 11.2% this survey to rank #2 behind Triple M. Hughesy and Kate had a great survey though with share up 1.7 to 14.2%.

97.3FM 9.6%

It’s hard to dress up this result with the station slipping away from the rest of the FM pack. Breakfast is down to 9.1% where it is being outrated by 4KQ. Only daypart remaining in double figures is afternoon (and it is barely hanging on) with 10.0%.

4KQ 8.9%

Good strong survey for the AM music station with share up 0.8. Breakfast with Laurel, Gary and Mark jumped 1.7 to 9.5%, overtaking 97.3 breakfast. The station’s weekend share was up 2.1 to 11.1%, outperforming every station in the market except Nova.

4BC 6.0%

Strong survey for the 2GB affiliate with share up 1.4. Alan Jones saw his breakfast share climb 1.7 to 7.3%. Ray Hadley also had a good survey, share lifted 1.9 to 8.3%.

Macquarie Sports 882 0.4%

Share was steady this survey although breakfast lifted 0.2 to 0.6%. The payback though was that all other timeslots slipped a little.
