Blobfish has announced the appointment of Rose Rye as senior campaign manager.
Rye’s appointment is effective immediately and she will be responsible for managing key client accounts across the Blobfish International business based in the Melbourne office.
She will work closely with some of the major FMCG’s across Australia and New Zealand.
Rye joins the sampling network from MK Media Australia where she was an account manager. Prior to that, Rye had account manager roles at Media Partners and the Dentsu Aegis Network in London, where she worked within the B2B specialist publishing team across a range of clients, including the Kellogg’s EMEA and UK business.
Nicolas Cann, Blobfish International Founder and CEO, said of the appointment: “Rose comes to Blobfish with significant experience in the Australian media market and a nuanced understanding of what clients need.
“She has also had experience in the UK B2B market, which will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business across the UK and Europe and we expand into office environments and Airbnb properties.”
Rye said of her appointment: “I’m thrilled to be joining the organisation at such an exciting time for Blobfish.
“The business has experienced exponential growth over the last two years, with its offering and capabilities continuing to grow, so I’m excited to be working in such a forward-thinking, dynamic organisation,” she added.
Her new role follows the recent appointment of Tom De Vries as Blobfish’s new UK sales director, as the business continues its rapid expansion into the UK and European markets.
Since its 2015 Australian launch, Blobfish has worked closely with companies across food delivery (Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat), Airbnb and hotels, ride share vehicles (Uber and Ola), gyms, Pilates, and yoga studios, and office tower environments for brand sampling opportunities in their environments.
