BAFTA Television Awards 2015

BBC dominates the BAFTA TV Awards, hosted by comedian and talk show host Graham Norton

Hosted by Graham Norton on Sunday night UK time, the 2015 BAFTA Television Awards have just wrapped up in London. As well as hosting the event, Norton left with a gong for The Graham Norton Show in the comedy and comedy entertainment category.
BBC programming dominated the night, with Happy Valley taking home the drama award, sitcom Detectorists winning for situational comedy and Sherlock winning the Radio Times Audience Award. Long-running soap opera Coronation Street picked up a gong for soap and continuing drama, beating rival EastEnders to the prize.
Kevin McCloud’s Grand Designs, which is also popular here with LifeStyle viewers, won the features category, while Matthew McConaughey’s True Detective was awarded in the international category.
