Audience Group has announced the promotions of Tori Chandler and Tracey Rosen.
Chandler steps up in the independent agency from digital performance coordinator to digital planner and strategist.
Chandler will apply her Master of Data Science to solving media and advertising puzzles. She said of her elevated role: “I didn’t necessarily expect to find my place in an advertising services agency, but dreaming up new media mix models is such a creative way to work with data.
“It’s quite satisfying to be able to help clients use their first-party data for end-to-end media strategies that are measurable in a way that ties directly to their business objectives,” she added.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience (with Honours), concurrently, Chandler obtained her Master of Data Science at Deakin University. She then worked her way from data analyst intern to lead data planner/digital strategist at Audience Group in just two years.
Rosen takes on the role of client services director in her fifth year of working with the independent agency. She has more than 20 years of experience in the advertising industry and is a veteran who sees great value in the agency’s use of clients’ first party data and its approach to improving performance measurement.
Rosen said: “The data Audience Group uses to report to clients on campaign performance is richer than ever before, , purposefully designed to align with each client’s business strategy and objectives. This is not only critical to helping our clients justify their advertising spend but helps them to invest with confidence.”
Rosen champions the agency’s focus on evidence-based advertising as she develops Audience Group’s client service team and in the way she adds value to clients.
“It’s great to be able to work closely with Damon, our Director of Technology, to help clients really connect with their IT departments or cloud service providers to obtain the first-party data that will enrich their media and advertising strategies,” said Rosen.
Rosen kicked off her career with a BA in International Business, specialising in Advertising and since then has amassed both client-side and advertising agency experience in Australia and the UK.
Working for the likes of Y&R London, Samsung – Cheil Communications, Epson Printers, BCM and Brother & Co, Rosen has held managerial roles for more than 16 years, ranging from carcomms manager through to account director and group business director.
Tom Evans, Audience Group co-founder and managing director, said: “If analytics and AI projects are siloed, then valuable conversations, contributions and data connections will be missed.
Audience Group advocates for inter-departmental collaboration such as between the Marketing and IT departments, as well as C-Suite buy-in, for best use of data.
Evans said: “Technology partners should be involved as trusted advisors. These days, that might include your martech and adtech providers, and it certainly should include a media strategy agency with the necessary data and analytics capabilities.
“We’ve incorporated these capabilities and expertise into our agency structure which includes a ‘data whisperer’ as director of technology [Damon Mudge] and a seasoned director of analytics [Sean Cooper].”
