Adelaide Radio Ratings: Mix strengthens lead, Cruise outrates Fiveaa & 5MMM

• Jodie and Soda are now 2.4 points ahead of their nearest commercial competitor

Biggest rise: Mix 102.3 +0.6
Biggest fall: Nova 91.9 -0.9

Mix 102.3 13.9% (+0.6)

After sharing top breakfast spot overall in the market with ABC Adelaide last survey, the ABC station has slipped ahead. However Jodie and Soda are now 2.4 points ahead of their nearest commercial competitor, Fiveaa. Mix has improved winning shares in morning and afternoon. Plus Will and Woody are oh-so-close to toppling Nova in drive.

Nova 91.9 10.3% (-0.9)

They might have had the biggest fall this survey, but Nova remains #1 FM. Breakfast bucked the station trend as Dylan and Hayley lifted 0.2 to 10.1%. Kate, Tim and Marty remain #1 overall in drive, with Mix close behind.

Hit 107 10.0% (+0.4)

The station recorded overall growth despite the new Bec and Cosi breakfast show dipping from 9.7% to 9.3%. Hughesy and Kate have turned around drive, up from 9.3% to 10.9%, lifting the ranking from #4 to #3.

Cruise 1323 9.1% (+0.5)

This is the second time in three surveys that the AM music format has toppled Fiveaa. It is not much of a threat to the talk station in breakfast or evening, but across the rest of the day it is game on.

Fiveaa 9.0% (-0.3)

With breakfast share down 1.3 to 11.1%, David and Will have recorded their lowest share since 2016. Evening continues to boast the biggest share with 15.5%.

5MMM 8.8% (-0.6)

This is the station’s lowest number in over three years. Things aren’t so bad at breakfast where Roo and Ditts lifted 0.2 to 9.4% which is their third successive increase after a small tumble late last year. Kennedy Molloy is the only FM drive show in single figures on 9.6%.
