AANA

• The AANA is uniquely positioned to bring objective, impartial purpose-built programs

The Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) aims to promote and advance all forms of advertising & marketing in Australia, delivering value for brands, the community, and the economy.

The AANA is positioned as a marketing capabilities partner to bring objective, impartial purpose-built programs designed by marketers for marketers to drive business growth through best practices.

The Brand Masters Program aims to up-skill and inspire the incoming crop of marketing leaders. The program is a purpose-built initiative to equip members’ teams with best-practice marketing skills to help drive business growth through the power of their brands.

It also provides marketers with a comprehensive ‘toolkit’ to craft great brands from insights to execution and measuring effectiveness. The program includes five capability modules held virtually and face-to-face throughout the year (only in Sydney and Melbourne).

AANA also runs the Dynamic Marketing Program to upskill and equip marketers with the tools, models, and frameworks for immediate application. The program features five sessions designed to complement each other and meet immediate industry needs by providing situationally relevant principles, theories, and case studies.

It is open to all marketers looking to strengthen their skills and explore new ways of thinking.

Each session has up to 16 participants (maximum of two from an organisation) with registration on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The AANA also provided webinars for members and resources for members behind a portal and the Peer Group Program, a mentoring program for mid to senior-level marketers looking to connect with peers and be guided by CMO coaches.

The association also endorses the Australian Digital Advertising Practices (ADAP), explicitly created by advertisers, media agencies, digital publishers and subject matter experts.

The ADAP is also endorsed by the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA), Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB Australia) and Media Federation of Australia (MFA).

The course seeks to educate by providing a common understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and clarifying common misunderstandings.

It also aims to encourage shared responsibility by ensuring advertisers, agencies, publishers, and digital platforms have shared insights for digital spending and outcomes and enable trust and confidence in digital advertising.
