The Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) aims to arm marketers with the tools to help businesses grow in tough economic times at its annual Reset conference next year.
The Reset for Growth event will provide keynotes from a lineup of world-class marketing talent to assist local marketers in navigating the evolving marketing landscape successfully while also driving growth in their businesses.
AANA has revealed its first keynote speaker Richard Oppy, vice president of Premium Co at Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev). Oppy is best known for spearheading the success of premium brands such as Corona, Stella Artois, and Budweiser by transforming the business to put creativity at the core.
AANA chief executive Josh Faulks told Mediaweek with the 2024 outlook remaining flat, members are keen to focus on driving business growth and helping suppress inflation through competition and innovation.
Faulks said: “The key thing here is content and making sure that you’re hearing from some of the best marketers in the world and in Australia and the lineup that we’ve got planned is really impressive.
“I haven’t seen that kind of lineup in any of the other conferences. We don’t have any panels. It’s just keynote speakers from some of the biggest brands, the biggest names the biggest marketers in the world and locally. ” he said.
“Marketers, media brands, advertisers and platforms should be coming along to see the calibre of the content, but also have something really tangible to take back to their business to help it grow in that tough economic climate,” Faulks added.
Faulks said the conference’s lineup of international and local marketing industry talent will be announced in January.
Next year’s Reset’s tenth year, a milestone Faulks said the association is in the final stages of planning festivities, which they are looking forward to celebrating with the industry.
