New editor for Weight Watchers magazine

Pacific+, the custom publishing arm of Pacific Magazines, has announced the appointment of Jennifer Connell as Editor, Weight Watchers magazine.
With a media career spanning more than 20 years, Connell joins Weight Watchers magazine from NewsLifeMedia, where she held the role of Manager – Editorial Special Projects, including body + soul one-shot magazines and brand extensions for Inside Out and Country Style magazines.

Connell spent three years at the helm of Country Style magazine, and has also held the editorship of Super Food Ideas. Her background also extends to newspapers and broadcast media, with stints at The Sydney Morning Herald, the Seven Network and ABC TV.
Dani Miller, Publisher, Weight Watchers magazine said: “Jennifer brings a wealth of magazine and broader media experience to Weight Watchers magazine. We’re thrilled to have her on board.”
Connell commented: “Weight Watchers magazine is an impressive title with a dedicated following, and I’m looking forward to bringing readers even more of what they want.

Connell replaces Jacqueline Mooney, who was this week appointed Editor, Prevention.
Connell’s appointment is effective immediately.
