Mediaweek Podcasts

Television Podcast
A terrific trio talking TV – News Limited’s prolific TV critic Dianne Butler is online into the mcm Sydney studios with Mediaweek’s James Manning and Brenden Wood. Lots to talk about including the Lara Bingle "scandal", why Seven’s new 7.30pm NRL footy show could work (secret weapon Shane Webcke), My Kitchen Rules and its producer Rikkie Proost, Top Gear, SBS’s porn night, Australia’s Got Talent and a whole lot more.

Radio Podcast
Your hosts spend time with the co-host of Mix 94.5’s The Big Couch Shane McFarlane. Thanks to the wonders of technology, he sounds like he’ s right in the studio with us even though we interrupted his prep in Perth for the Thursday show. McFarlane proved to be a wonderful guest as he opened up about in-house rivalry with Hamish and Andy (and don’t tell him again they are a once-in-a-generation phenomenon), how The Big Couch has knocked off the Today Network stars in the past and is just a couple of share points away from doing it again. We were on such a roll with McFarlane that he also told us about how The West Australian hadn’t changed that much under Kerry Stokes and Chris Wharton, and he even had a view on where WIN has gone wrong with Channel Nine in Perth.
